Antitrust & Competition Law
LCS possesses extensive practical experience in cases related to the Fair Trade Act. Over the years, we have been recognized and invited by professional organizations such as the International Bar Association (IBA), LexisNexis, Global Competition Review, and The Law Reviews to regularly provide reports and updates on Taiwan’s antitrust and competition laws. Notable cases include the global merger of Royal DSM and AGI Corp., the Taiwan-region merger of Yahoo and Microsoft, PX Mart’s acquisition of Taiwan RT-Mart in addition to successfully representing a prominent Japanese company in obtaining leniency under the Fair Trade Commission's policy, and administrative remedies for joint conduct involving multiple listed companies.
