Intellectual Properties
LCS offers comprehensive intellectual property (IP) legal services to clients, including domestic and international tech and biotech venture capital firms, renowned pharmaceutical, agrochemical, biotechnology, and technology companies (covering industries such as semiconductors, network communications, IC design, silicon intellectual property (SIP), system packaging, and consumer electronics). Services include drafting various IP-related agreements, handling infringement disputes, litigation, licensing negotiations, technology equity arrangements, intangible asset acquisitions, and IP transactions. We also assist with cross-border M&A transactions, intangible asset acquisition or disposal, licensing negotiations, IP protection, technology transfer, equity structuring, and international arbitration in collaboration with foreign attorneys, including litigation and provisional measures such as injunctions and attachments in courts across Europe, the U.S., and Japan.
LCS frequently represents domestic and international listed companies in major IP disputes, including royalty negotiations with prominent corporations in Europe, the U.S., and Japan, as well as civil, criminal, and administrative litigation involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and Fair Trade Act-related claims. Our cases often set industry benchmarks or represent the first of their kind in Taiwan.
Additionally, LCS represents domestic research institutions and companies in analyzing foreign corporations’ patent infringement litigation in the U.S. and Japan courts and the ITC (U.S. International Trade Commission). We provide specialized reports on potential infringement lawsuits, injunctions, and related actions in U.S. courts, assist domestic companies, and collaborate with U.S. attorneys on ITC litigation.
